Community Action Grants
Has the EF only partially funded your Community Action Grant? AAUW-IL will now consider funding any AAUW-IL branch's Community Action Grant.
Read about the first grant AAUW-IL funded -- a conference for middle school Latinas and their mothers: Dare to Dream: Get Educated!
To qualify, the branch must complete and submit the application required by the Educational Foundation, then apply in writing to the AAUW-IL President describing the project and the amount needed to complete it. The Board of Directors will then vote on the award. E-mail the AAUW-IL President for more information.

Membership CriteriaAny graduate with an associate or equivalent degree or higher may become a member of AAUW. More AAUW-Illinois membership information. In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class. |
