"Return to Learning" Scholarships

Scholarship Applications are now closed. They will open in January 2013.

The Lombard Area Branch of the American Association of University Women offers one or two "Return to Learning" Scholarships to qualified women returning to school after a significant break in attendance. The scholarship amounts are determined by our book sale proceeds.

Women are eligible who:

• Reside in the Lombard, Villa Park, Oakbrook Terrace, or Glendale Heights,
• Are continuing Higher Education after a significant interruption, and
• Are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, not including a doctoral program.

Required Additional Documentation:

• 2 letters of reference from a professional source detailing your qualifications and character. Consider a faculty member, employer, colleague, minister or other associate.
